We’re delighted to see our Fairview project in Lewes featured in ENKI Magazine, exploring how a dated Sussex bungalow has been transformed into a contemporary home with outstanding energy performance.
Set in an elevated position overlooking the floodplains of Lewes and Offham, Fairview was designed to make the most of its remarkable setting, creating a light-filled, comfortable home with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
Sustainability was central to the project from the outset. By retaining and reusing the existing foundations, we were able to reduce construction waste and the environmental impact of the build. A fabric-first approach, combined with solar PV, battery storage and an air source heat pump, has helped the completed home achieve an exceptional EPC A rating of 104A.
The project brings together carefully considered architecture, natural materials and low-energy design to create a home that will continue to perform well for years to come.
It’s lovely to see Fairview recognised by ENKI, and a big thank you to photographer Ivan Jones for capturing the project so beautifully.
