Planning permission has been granted for the sensitive extension and renovation of this Grade II listed mill. The scheme addresses past unsympathetic alterations, reorganising the internal layout to create a more coherent and functional home.
A new extension provides additional open-plan living space, linked to the existing building by a carefully designed glass connection that forms a welcoming central entrance. Windows will be replaced and the rear terracing reconfigured to strengthen the relationship with the garden and improve the flow between inside and out.
Existing outbuildings will also be upgraded with insulation, new windows and doors, and the garage converted into a games room. The project balances heritage and contemporary living, creating a home that respects the building’s history while supporting modern life.
