This 600m² contemporary house is the result of a powerful creative partnership, bringing together a visionary client, award-winning kitchen designers Inglis Hall, and our team at Hapa Architects. The outcome is a striking and sustainable home that blends rural warmth with refined industrial detailing.

At Hapa, we were delighted to come on board at the detailed design stage, working closely with the client and contractor to evolve the original concept into a highly tailored and liveable home. The result is a thoughtful response to site and context: a home deeply rooted in its landscape, drawing inspiration from traditional agricultural forms while embracing a modern family lifestyle.

The heart of the home is a bespoke kitchen crafted by Inglis Hall that perfectly expresses the client’s love of nature, texture, and light. Raw and refined materials, from blackened band-sawn oak to brushed black granite, come together in a space that’s both functional and poetic.
